The series is a visual exploration of my homeland in northern Portugal. It documents everyday life on the Atlantic coast, showing fishermen, seaweed harvesters on the beaches, and vegetable vendors in their interplay with nature. In artistic contrast, the people appear in black and white, marked by their labor, while the landscape radiates in color – a tension that reveals the region’s authenticity, traditions, and vitality, offering an intimate glimpse into life by the sea.
